[LCC] Letter in response to CHE article about "social change" and "classic texts"

Some of you may have seen the following article in the March 5 "Today's
News" feature of the Chronicle of Higher Education:

I wrote a letter in response which appears in the April 17 issue of "The
Chronicle Review" (I don't even understand what that is; their online
presence is dazzling):

I'm sorry I don't feel comfortable cutting and pasting the article or even
my own letter, but I get access through my campus library, and I wouldn't
want an abuse on my part to affect my library's relationship with the
publication.
