James Davidson's /The Greeks and Greek Love/ (New York : Random 
House 2009;  original edition London : Weidenfeld & Nicolson

I do wonder why the original subtitle ("A radical reappraisal of 
Homosexuality in Ancient Greece") has been dropped in favour of 
such an anodyne and inaccurately non-descriptive new one for US 
audiences ("A Bold New Exploration of the Ancient World").
