[LCC] News from the Lambda Classical Caucus

There have been quite a few developments at LCC in the last few months. 
We have a new co-chair (Deb Kamen), an new newsletter editor (Keely 
Lake), and a new travel grant (for students traveling to the APA). 
Moreover you can now pay your Lambda dues and make donations to the 
Rehak fund via PayPal.

Our ongoing projects include our sequence of fantastically successful 
APA panels, our co-sponsorship of the APA opening night reception (with 
WCC and CSWMG), the annual Rehak Prize for a scholarly article, and the 
more recent annual award for a graduate student presentation.

We could not achieve any of this without the financial support of our 
members. If you have not yet paid your dues for 2010, please do so using 
the attached form or via PAYPAL at 
http://www.lambdacc.org/membership.html. I have also attached an updated 
information sheet (now separate from the dues form) which reflects the 
recent changes in the makeup of the steering committee.

If you are a non-paying member (student, retiree, unemployed), PLEASE 
EMAIL ME (blondell at uw.edu) IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR MEMBERSHIP CURRENT. 
Most of you have already done this, but I need to hear from the rest of 
you or I will remove your name from the list. If you are in doubt about 
your status, please email me and ask.
